Distilling rum takes skill, patience and process control at every step so why would you ever compromise selecting quality, fresh ingredients with every batch?

Using this yeast will help you to achieve a well rounded fermentation with character that will shine through in the final beverage.

It's simple. It all comes down to ingredient selection and process.

If you're a real rum enthusiast, start here by selecting a yeast that will help you make rums of distinction, dark or light, and ferments well on sugars, treacle, molasses and/or cane juice up to 15%ABV.

An active dried yeast specially selected for rum, this strain has fantastic attenuation and a beautiful, smooth, neutral pressence when using a pot still for your spirit production.

Sufficient for up to 25 L (6.6 US Gal) fermentation.

Add directly to the fermentation vessel and leave to ferment at 20-34°C (68-93°F) ambient air temperature for optimum performance and quality.

Recommended Fermenter

Research has shown that in order to extract the most flavour from hops and yeast, and to minimise contact with oxygen, pressure fermenters are the best fermenters for any style of beer which is why the manufacturer recommends to use one of the below fermenters:
