Cologne | Kolsch Yeast Variety

Cologne presents a classic German Kölsch strain known for its pristine and crisp qualities. Its minimal ester profile makes it an impeccable choice for crafting Kölsch and other delicately hued, light beers. Notably, Cologne stands out with enhanced flocculation attributes compared to many Kölsch strains, enabling brewers to achieve bright and clear brews more efficiently. This characteristic leads to the creation of cleaner and brilliantly illuminated beers in a shorter fermentation duration. With Cologne, your brews embrace the traditional essence of Kölsch while benefiting from its efficient and clean fermentation attributes, resulting in beers that are refreshing and perfect for any occasion.
