ArtisanAle fresh wort kits are made in house on a Spiedel 500L Braumeister Brewery. They are especially suited to time poor brewers or those who simply want an excellent beer with a minimum of effort.

A Dark Strong, Belgian complex beer packed with estery goodness.
This is a Belgian wort kit for making some of the classic Belgian Trappist style Beers, By adding 4 litres of water you can a Belgian Dubbel with a starting gravity of 1.073 and IBU 18 or add no water is for a Belgian QUAD in the Westveletern or Chimay Blue style.
There are huge range of yeasts you could use with this Wort Kit.
If using dried yeast we would recommend using 3 packs of T-58. If liquid, please make sure you get your pitching rates right! Ask us if you’re not sure. 3787 Trappist is the classic but 1214 and 1762 will produce outstanding beers.

Bitterness: 23 IBU’s using Hallertau Tradition hops.
Grist make up: Pilsner 58% , Best Munich 9% , Wheat Malt 2.5%, Aromatic 4.5%, Best Caramunich II 4.5%, Special B 4.5%, Melanoidin 2% and Dextrose 15%
No dry hopping suggestions.
Recommended yeasts:
Mangrove Jack's M47 or Mangrove Jack's M31.
