Apollo 60L Snub Nose complete kit

The largest PET pressure fermenter in the Apollo range, built for brewers who need room for bigger batches and precise fermentation control. Its castor-mounted stainless steel stand makes the full-size fermenter easier to position around your brewery.

What you can do

  • Ferment under pressure
  • Dry hop with less oxygen exposure
  • Carbonate in the fermenter
  • Monitor the liquid temperature through the thermowell
  • Serve directly from the fermenter

Flexible Apollo design

  • Thermowell: take temperature readings from inside the liquid
  • Floating dip tube: draws clearer liquid from near the surface and stays centrally aligned
  • Optional temperature control: compatible with the Apollo temperature control kit
  • CIP capable: compatible with the Apollo cleaning kit for easier clean-in-place care

What's included

  • 60L / 15.8 US gallon conical PET fermenter tank
  • Thermowell
  • Stainless steel stand with castors
  • Third-generation pressure lid
  • Floating dip tube with centre tank alignment

Already have the lid, stand and fittings? The Apollo 60L Snub Nose replacement tank is also available separately.

Optional accessories

  • CIP cleaning kit
  • Temperature control kit
  • Insulation jacket

Dimensions

  • 410mm wide across the base of the frame
  • 875mm high to the top of the lid posts

Cleaning and safety

Keg King recommends homebrew-grade cleaning chemicals, including phosphoric acid-based sanitisers and non-caustic cleaners. Always follow the dilution instructions on the product label. For phosphoric acid sanitisers, the recommended working pH range is 2.2 to 2.8.

Heat can permanently damage PET. Allow hot cleaning solutions to cool to 30°C or below before use, and never expose the fermenter to temperatures of 55°C or higher.

Newer units include a white 25psi pressure relief valve rather than the red valve shown in some older photos. Following the cleaning, temperature and safety recommendations will help maintain the tank throughout its usable life.
