The Keg King MKX gas regulator pairs a machined brass body with dual gauges and an easy-to-adjust front knob for setting and monitoring gas pressure. This version comes with a Type 30 nut and stem for CO2 and CO2/nitrogen mixed gases.

Encapsulated seat and double filtration

Keg King's fully encapsulated seat technology makes the seat and seat cap a single assembly, reducing the chance of contamination if the regulator is opened for maintenance. The assembly uses ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE), which offers chemical resistance and stability compared with the plumber's tape used in some other regulators.

Two filters help keep gas delivery clean in beverage service: one at the gas inlet and a sintered filter beneath the seat cap.

Gas compatibility and fittings

The MKX regulator body can be used with CO2, oxygen, argon, helium and nitrogen when fitted with the appropriate nut and stem. This model includes the Type 30 fitting for CO2 and CO2/nitrogen mixes. For other gases, see the interchangeable Type 10 nut and stem for oxygen, argon and helium, or Type 50 nut and stem for nitrogen.

For draft systems, we recommend fitting a one-way check valve to help prevent liquid from flowing back from the keg into the regulator.
