Bred and released by Jackson Farms near Boise, Idaho, Idaho 7® (J-007) is a bold American hop bursting with pungent tropical fruit and citrus — think apricot, orange, red grapefruit, papaya, and mango — layered with resiny pine, peach, and hints of black tea. Best used as a late addition, though it also performs well as a bittering hop.
Alpha Acid (AA): 9.5–15%
Purpose: Aroma & Bittering
Aroma: Tropical fruit, apricot, orange, grapefruit, papaya, mango, pine, resin, black tea, black currant
Beer Styles: IPA, Pale Ale, Wheat
