These 28mm magnetic stir bars are suited to use with our conical erlenmeyer flasks. Using a magnetic stirrer is easy and will optimise the growth of your yeast starter in the conical erlenmeyer flasks.
If you would like to make your own stir plate you can use use a small computer fan and the neodymium magnets (part no. 6257) to make a magnetic stirrer.
We also stock a professional laboratory adjustable magnetic stirrer (part no.6714 ).
