If you have been using keg dispensing equipment for a while you will know that the 5/8 BSP thread is used widely throughout all fittings such as keg couplers, beer tap shanks and many other fittings. 5/8 threads are rarely used elsewhere so this adaptor changes the 5/8 inch thread to the common 1/2inch thread that you will be able to use on a wide rage of plumbing fittings from the hardware store.
This adaptor has female 5/8 on one side (so you can screw it onto keg couplers as shown left or tap shanks) and on the other side it has 1/2 inch BSP.
