Keg King C-Size High Purity, Food Grade, Refillable Nitrogen Cylinder (0.6m³ - 0.9m³)

There's nothing quite like a stout poured with nitrogen: the super creamy mouthfeel, soft head and cascading effect. Now you can create this experience at home with your own nitro setup.

This high-purity N2 cylinder comes full and is the perfect choice for home brewers and commercial users who demand a flawless nitro pour every time.

Features:

High-Purity Nitrogen: Our food-grade nitrogen is ideal for dispensing beverages like nitro stout, nitro coffee, and other draft drinks where quality and flavour are paramount.
Convenient C-Size Bottle: This compact, easy-to-handle cylinder is a great solution for home kegerators, small cafés, or mobile setups. It contains a minimum of 0.6m³ of high-pressure nitrogen gas.
Refillable & Environmentally Friendly: This refillable cylinder saves you from the hassle of disposing of old canisters and is a more sustainable choice.
Australian Standard Certified: Avoid the risk of incompatible cylinders. Our cylinders are manufactured to Australian Standard AS 2030, ensuring you can get them refilled at more locations across the country.

Connections & Regulators

Although most CO2 regulators are compatible with nitrogen, they use a different connection in accordance with Australian Standards. These nitrogen cylinders require a 'Type 50' connection. If you need a regulator to suit these cylinders, we sell them here.

Expected Dispense Amounts

Because nitrogen is stored as a compressed gas rather than a liquid, these cylinders hold significantly less consumable gas than a CO2 cylinder of the same physical size. These cylinders hold 4.0 L of nitrogen at approximately 150 bar (600 L at atmospheric pressure). Depending on many factors like wastage, the pressure and temperature you dispense at, etc., you should expect to dispense about 100–200 L of nitro stout, beer, or coffee.

Always perform a leak test when setting up your system to prevent gas loss. To perform a pressure test, pressurise your system to 30 psi when not connected to a keg, turn off the gas cylinder valve, and wait one hour. If the pressure has dropped on your regulator gauges significantly, this indicates a leak in your system.

Shipping & Refills

We can arrange shipping of full cylinders Australia-wide. Once your cylinder is empty, you'll need to arrange your own refills, but because it meets the Australian Standard, many gas suppliers can fill it.

For customers local to our Springvale, Melbourne store, we offer an easy 'swap and go' system, just like your BBQ gas bottles.
