USP Approved Food Grade Glycol 99% - 5 Litres
Propylene glycol solutions are often used in breweries for cooling wort to pitching temperatures as well as fermenters and bright tanks. They are also used at bars and pubs to cool draught beverages for easy dispensing.
Propylene glycol is added to water to lower the freezing point of water. This allows for more effective cooling as well as preventing the water from freezing and shutting down cooling systems. A typical mixture is 30% glycol by volume.
