Heating Belt 30 Watt
Heating Belt 30 Watt
The 30 watts will gently warm without creating a hot spot. Heating belts are preferable to heating pads for the reasons that they can simply be moved up or down the fermenter to increase or decrease the heat transfer to the brew.
Heating belts are also preferable to heating pads because pads tend to heat up the yeast bed on the bottom of the fermenter which can produce some undesirable flavours in your beer.
The heating belt can also be plugged into our MKII 10/30amp Temperature Controller for a more accurate temperature of your fermenter.
Heat belts are not recommended for direct contact with heat sensitive materials like PET. When using your heat belt with a PET fermenter we recommend wrapping the heat belt around wire stand to avoid direct contact with the PET.
