These wort kits are usually made on a Spiedel 500L Braumeister Brewery. NOTE: These kits are generally designed to add 3 litres of water to the fermentation for a 20L brew.

DESCRIPTION
Keg King Brewing’s Red IPA takes your regular Amber Ale into IPA territory. Combining the best of both styles, Red IPA delivers the toffee and toasted malt body wrapped in a symphony of American hop characters from Simcoe, Amarillo, Columbus and Magnum. Brewed to be a bit stronger in alcohol, this beer is the perfect union for those who like a bit more malt character in a West Coast IPA without sacrificing the hoppy flavours they crave. Perfect year round but also outstanding as an autumn treat to match the colour of your beer to the season and bring you a warm inner glow.
Keg King Brewing’s Red IPA is new to our range in April 2025, just in time to deliver an Autumn beer with colours and flavours to suit the season. We designed this beer to have a deep amber golden hue and the perfect white head of foam bursting with the spicy, citrus and pine forest aromas. Brewed to be stronger in flavours and alcohol strength we offer this beer kit at a higher starting gravity to help make it authentic, fresh, Red IPA.
The world of India Pale Ales got ever wider when more styles combined as brewers across the globe started pushing their favourite beers into the IPA relm with stronger hop schedules, higher ABV and bigger flavours. Almost over night there were Red, White, Black and Brown IPAs popping up everwhere and we are so thankful they did!
Our Red IPA is no exception and we spared no expense to ensure the hop quality on this one brings together the synergies of Simcoe, Amarillo, Columbus and Magnum hops all playing together in perfect harmony with Pale, Carapils, Carared and Dark Crystal specialty malts to get that signature red glow just right!
Our Red IPA beer kit does not include extra hops because it is already very generously hopped on brewday. HOWEVER, we never miss an opportunity to smash more hops into any beer so if you are like us, we'd recommend adding a bit of bling with 50g of some fresh Amarillo and 50g of Simcoe three days out from packaging.
Pair Red IPA with Manchego, Pecorino or any hard cheese with a sharp, nutty character. Pair with seared red meat finished with black pepper and smoke salt. The malty base of this beer and the wonderful hop spice help to balance spicy Mexican and Indian dishes so from vindaloo to carne asada, you'll find a perfect match with this Red IPA.
Ferment this one with either Bluestone Michigan or San Diego, US05 or Mangrove Jack M44 West Coast yeast.
