Matt's Imperial Stout | Keg King Brewing Co. Fresh Wort Kit
Matt's Imperial Stout | Keg King Brewing Co. Fresh Wort Kit
These wort kits are made on a Speidel 500L Braumeister Brewery, they are all grain and brewed true to style. They are especially suited to time poor brewers or those who simply want an excellent beer with a minimum of effort.NOTE: These kits are generally designed to add 3 litres of water to the fermentation to achieve the ideal balance, you may if you wish, not add the extra water for a richer, higher gravity version.
Yeast not included.
DESCRIPTION
Matt’s Imperial Stout—a beastly, soul-devouring concoction of dark, luscious decadence, clawing its way to nearly 10% ABV, this winter warmer is brewed for the Stout-Hearted Malt Maniacs. Concocted from a shadowy legion of dark malts and balanced by Warrior and East Kent Goldings hops, Matt recommends fermenting this one undiluted for a seriously strong sipping beer, but you can dilute with a few litres of boiled and cooled water if you want something a tad lighter.
This beer will age like a fine wine, add some oak chips or staves to the secondary fermenter/keg and let is sit for a few months to add complexity and some oak character if desired. The perfect accompaniment to rich stews, brisket, some sharp vintage cheddar or with a slice of chocolate cake for dessert. With Keg King’s pro-brewed wort, you skip the grunt work so you can enjoy brewery quality beer the easy way. Grab one now and embrace your dark side....
