Symptoms may be loss of mobility and consciousness. Victims may not be aware.\u003cbr\u003eAt low concentrations may cause narcotic effects, symptoms may include dizziness, headache, nausea and loss of coordination.\u003cbr\u003eThese risks are elevated when using larger CO2 cylinders, systems with severe leaks, cylinders in small or poorly ventilated rooms, basements etc, spaces where people or pets sleep.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eLeak testing\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe highly recommend performing a leak test on your system once setup, and after each cylinder change. To perform a leak test:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eEnsure all the push in fittings are, fully seated, sometimes they can feel inserted, but require a firmer push to fully engage the seal.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTurn the regulator up to the recommended pressure for your system (usually 40psi).\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eEnsure the carbonation system is set to its normal standby mode and leave for at least 15 minutes for everything to equalise. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eTurn off the cylinder valve (usually black handle\/knob), without touching the regulator adjustment knob (usually grey knob on the regulator).\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eNote down the pressure on both the high and low pressure gauges of the regulator on a piece of paper.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eEnsure no one uses the carbonation machine for at least an hour and check the pressure on the gauges again:\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf the high pressure has dropped significantly during this time, it indicates a leak. Check all connections are fully inserted, use a foamy lather made of dishwashing detergent on all joins, gauges etc and watch for bubbles. Fix any issues and preform another leak test.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eA small drop on the high pressure gauge (around 50psi) may be caused by temperature changes or the system equalising. If in doubt leave the system overnight and test again or for a longer time.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf no change in pressure is noted, this indicates there are no leaks, turn on the cylinder valve again for normal operation.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ul\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIf the pressure test indicates there is a leak, but it can't be located or sealed, your system may need service from an authorised technician.
