Beer and Gas Line
Thick wall, high pressure, food grade beer line. 6mm, 5mm, and 4mm internal diameter.
Please refer to the chart below to find out what beer line length you require:
| Purpose | Internal Diameter | Recommended Beer Line Length (Thick wall PVC) |
| Used in situations where keg is right next to the font or tap. Kegerators or very small keg systems | 4mm (approx 5/32") | Under 2m |
| For use in small bar situation or for kegerator setup | 5mm (approx 3/16") | 2-3m |
| For use in small to medium bar setup with relatively short beer lines | 6mm (approx 1/4") | 3-7m |
| Used for medium to long draw been lines, jockey box, or large temprite system | 8mm (approx 5/16") over | 7-16m |
| Used for long draw been lines, jockey box, or large temprite system | 9.5mm (approx 3/8") | 15-30m |
The internal diameter of beer line and length of beer line you use is very important. Calculating the correct length of beer line for your keg serup is called balancing your system. Different beers will like to sit at different pressure. Generally speaking most beers like to sit in the keg at between 12psi to 14psi at 4 degreese C. The issue is that at this pressure, you flow speed might be too fast or too slow. That is why you need to increase or decrease your beer line length and diameter.
